She was predeceased by: her husband John Emerson Beaton; her parents, Earl Vessie and Annie Vessie; and her siblings, Marjorie Irvin, Gordon, Ethel Boyce, Melvin, Elgin, Dearl, Norman, Hazel Duncan and Benjamin.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn (Cynthia) of Big Bay and Thelma Burritt (David) of Peterborough; her grandchildren, Matthew and Emily Burritt; and her family, Keith, Donna Vessie, Elva Vessie and Gail Vessie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
