He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Anne; his brother Ray Carter; and his grandson Bradley Wilson. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Ruthanne Risk (Dave) of Markdale, Cathy Wilson (John Pratt) of Collingwood and Glenna Le (Dan White) of Wasaga Beach; his grandchildren, Tim (Olivia), Nate, Sarah, Luke, Shelby (Matt) and Kaely; his brothers, Doug Carter (Betty Lou) and Allan Carter (Doris); and his sisters-in-law, Penny Pedlar and Ann Pedlar.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a memorial service will take place at a later date.
