He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ken, Herb, Francis, Bill, Gertrude Younge, Mary Demeirs, Marg Davis and Jean; his parents, George Thompson and Mary Thompson; and also Cindy Peterson.
He is survived by: his spouse Reta; his children, Bonnie Palbiski (Ben) of Orangeville, Don Thompson (Marjorie) of Orangeville, Brenda Hanna (late Bruce) of Orangeville, Betty-Ann Fawcett (Alan) of Markdale and Thomas Thompson (Cindy) of Durham; his sister-in-law Devona; and also, Garry Peterson (Anne), Cathy Plantt (Gary), Dale Peterson (Stacey) and Kim Reimer (Mark).
