He was predeceased by: his father Donald Smith; his brother Ron; his parents-in-law, Percy and Beatrice Way; and his brother-in-law Josef Speer.
He is survived by: his wife Wendy; his children, Peter (Sherry) of Penhold, AB and Kelita Pumfrey (Jason) of Newbury; his grandchildren, McKinley, Hudson, Adelyn, Charleigh Moreland, Callie, Casey and Corey Pumfrey; his mother Lucille Smith; his siblings, Rick Moreland (Colleen), Donald Smith (Ann), Karen Smith (Jamie Woods) and Diane Sweeney (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Randy Way, Betty Speer (Doug Dunstan) and Arlene Moreland. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, family members, and friends.
