He was predeceased by: his child Gregory; his brother John Gibson; and his sibling-in-law Harold Linton. He is survived by: his spouse Ida; his child Scott (Brenda) of Flesherton; his grandchild Cassidy; his siblings, Lonnie (Barb) of Badjeros and Bill (Pat) of Brampton; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Applegate (Glenn) of Utopia, Hugh Linton (Carmen) of Cornwall, Frank Linton of Shelburne, Beth Attwood of Cambridge and Gladys Stoneham of Harcourt.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital would be gratefully appreciated.
