She was predeceased by: her husband Lorne; her daughter Lorrie Eagles-Schwalm; and her siblings, Bob, Fred, Albert and Marg McElwain.

She is survived by: her children, Debbie Eagles of Owen Sound, Connie Eagles of Holl and Fred Eagles of Mirror; her stepdaughters, Cindy Manovich (late Harry) of Milton and Sandra Neilsen (late Bob) of North Bay; her grandchildren, Vicki Pietz (Kevin) of Fonthill, Jody Scammel of Hanover and Charles Eagles of Mirror, Alberta.; her great grandchildren, Ashtyn, Alyssa and Gavin; and her brothers, Gord Thompson (Sandy) of Proton Station, Dave Thompson (Linda) of Elmwood and Jim Thompson (Lynn) of Port Elgin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
