He was predeceased by: his parents, Doug Oliver and Gwen Oliver; and his siblings, Sherri Deer, Cathy Sewell and Randy Oliver.

He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his children, Cody (Tara) of Markdale, Zack (Ashley) of Markdale and Chad (Cassandra) of Markdale; his grandchildren, Georgia, Connor, Dominic, Tayden, Mackena, Maeve, Zoe, Hunter, Emma, Bentley, Emerson and Donovan; his brothers, Ron, John (Sherri) and Tim; his sister-in-law Janet; and his parents-in-law, Bob and Grace LeClair of Clarksburg.
