He is survived by: his spouse Lynda; his children, John Byham (Joanna) of Shelburne and Jael of Singhampton; his grandchildren, Andrew, Madelyn, Hali and Tashia; his parents, David Matthew and Sheila Matthew; and his sisters, Karen Tong (Alex) of Markham and Ruth Sanders (Ian) of London.
