He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Anastazia; his children, Sonya Dougall (PJ) of Barrie and Eric John; his grandchildren, Maxx, Hunter (Daniel) and Sydney; his great grandchildren, Oakleigh, Rosalie, Dawson, Grayson and Jaden; his stepgranddaughter Lillian; and his brother Joe Rupar (Maria) of British Columbia. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
