He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Carefoot and Isabel Carefoot; and his siblings, Donald Carefoot and Minerva Smith. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his daughters, Crystal Ruppel (David) of Markdale and Esther Jacobs (Michael) of Carleton Place; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Violet and Azalea; his sister Ellen Sherrard (Rick) of Mount Forest; and his siblings-in-law, Fern Van Herk (Jim) of Brunner and Marshall Smith. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the ETHNOS Canada or New Life Camp would be greatly appreciated.
