He was predeceased by: his brother Harold Linton; his nephew Gregory Gibson; and his parents, Charles Linton and Christina Linton. He is survived by: his siblings, Ida Gibson (late Pete), Hugh Linton (Carmen), Beth Attwood and Gladys Stoneham. He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews, eighteen great nieces and nephews and two great great nieces.
