He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Mildred; his daughter Monica Blahut (Garret Moy) of Owen Sound; and his parents, Alexander Blahut (Marge) and Anne Blahut. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Foster Fenton and Emily Fenton; his sister Sylvia Frost (Bob) of Alliston; his siblings-in-law, Harris, Don Bemister (Jean), Sandy Bemister (Sarah) and Betty Chaulk (Dave); his nephew Phil West; his aunt Evelyn Radostits; his in-laws, Walter and Evelyn Bemister; and his siblings-in-law, Max Bemister (Venice) and Elsie West (Eric). He is also survived by his many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Grey Bruce Hospice (Chapman House) in Owen Sound, a place close to Carl's heart, would be gratefully appreciated.
