He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn; his son Leonard; his grandson James (Reeve); and his siblings, Jean and George.
He is survived by: his sister Eleanor Haayen; his sisters-in-law, Marina Onclin and Ruth Pyper; his daughters, Valerie Van Duzen (David), Ann Hahn (Peter), MaryEllen Skelly (Roger), Elizabeth and Barrie (Tim); his grandchildren, John Reeve (Lana), Lauren Horwood (Derrick), Elliott Hahn (Tiffany), Kate Hahn (Mackenzie Korb), Rylan Skelly (Lynn), Kaitlyn Skelly, Mallory Pley (Dave), Emily Barrie-Verrilli (Alex), Hannah Ohannessian (Anthony) and Will Barrie; his great grandchildren, Adeline, Judah, Simeon, Sage (Reeve), Nicholas, Victoria (Hahn), Remi (Korb), Sullivan, Hutton (Pley) and Ollie (Barrie-Verrilli); and also Acheson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gentle Shepherd Community Church, the Alzheimer's Society of Grey-Bruce, or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
