He is survived by: his wife Shirley Schweyer (Fess); his children, Faye, Gary Atkinson, Patricia, Blair, Jeanette, Patrick Clause, David, Cheryl, Mark and Sonya; his siblings, Rev. Douglas and Joyce; and his sister-in-law Muriel Harris. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
