She was predeceased by: her husband Roger Picard (Moose); her parents, Wallace Hartwell and Ruth Hartwell; and her siblings, Clare, Clarence, Bruce, Jack Hartwell, Eva Macdonald and Jean St. Denis.

She is survived by: her sons, Lawrence (Brenda) of Lunenburg, Michael (Kathy) of Finch, Patrick (Kris Babcock) of Lunenburg, Allen of Finch and Barry (Kimberley) of Finch; her siblings, Margaret of Morrisburg, Shirley Casselman (Gordon) of Newington and Frances Liscumb (late Stirling) of Chesterville; and her grandchildren, Ryan, Lilly and Nolan. She is also survived by friends, nieces and nephews.
