He was predeceased by: his parents, D. A. Gillies and Annie Gillies; his sister Amanda Lloyd; and his brother-in-law Clifford Lloyd. He is survived by: his niece Karen Maguire (Sam); his great-nieces, Kristy (Aaron) and Lindsay; his friend Lillian Droppo; his cousin Ila (Blaine); and also, Connor, Avery, Ethan and Jackson.
