It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Roderick McGillis (Finch, Ontario), who passed away on September 11, 2019, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles McGillis and Mabel McGillis (Denneny); and his brother George McGillis. He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Kuno (Howard), Margaret McGillis (Terry), Irvin McGillis, Sharlene Tessier (Jamie), Betty McGillis-Boileau (Marc), Beverley Boyd (Henry Beek) and Connie Barnard; his godson Jay Tessier (Ashley); and his friend Rose Grant (Rodney Degray). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
