He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father James Maloney; his wife Diane Maloney (French); his sons, Jason (Sonya), Christopher (Megan), James (Saki) and William; his sister Diane Silver (David) of Nova Scotia; his close friend Terry Taylor; his grandchildren, Amanda (Jake), Ben, Brooklyn, Brennen, Sakura and Riku; and his great grandchildren, Jackson and Charlie.
