He was predeceased by: his parents, George Elliston and Hope Elliston; and his siblings-in-law, Ian and Dorothy Clay. He is survived by: his wife Frances (Clay); his children, Peggy Agnew (Mike) of Fergus, Shari Thompson (John) of La Salle, Jason Elliston of Kitchener and Vicki MacClennan (Ron) of Guelph; and his grandsons, Trevor and Kevin Thompson.
