He was predeceased by: his wife Gwendolyn Dawn; his parents, Merlin Dixon and Helen Dixon; his brother Wayne; and also Louise (Ron Tone).

He is survived by: his daughter Marie Dixon (Andrea McCoy); his grandchild Rowan; his daughter Jacqueline Dixon (Joseph); his grandson Nathan; his great grandchild Naomie; his son Jeremie Dixon (JD); his grandchild Brodie; his great grandchild Robyn; his brother Jim (Sheila Dixon); his siblings-in-law, Deborah Douglas (Paul) and Blair Rush (Judy); and his close friend Stephanie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial Donations can be directed to Shriners Hospitals for Children — Canada or The Guelph Humane Society for the Dog rescue.
