He was predeceased by: his grandson Rob Matusinec; his parents, Thomas Woods and Edna Woods (Nixon); and his siblings, Gertrude Martin, Irene McNaught, Bruce Woods and Mary Mildred Woods.
He is survived by: his spouse Margaret M. Woods (Bosomworth); and his children, Edna Dixon, Ken Dixon of Arthur, Vera Lynne, Dan Matusinec of Arthur, James Woods, Donna Woods of Fergus, Larry Woods, Darlene Woods of Arthur, Kathleen Eden and Brian Eden of Arthur.
