He was predeceased by: his sons, Brian and James (Lone); his parents, George and Agnes (Billings); and his brother Frederick.

He is survived by: his wife Alice; his daughter Karen Johnson (Michael); and his grandchildren, Chris (Liz), Alison (Matt), Wayne (Jasmine), Robert (Rosa), Brenan (Audrey), Jeffrey (Kelly) and Matthew.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ross may be made to the Groves Memorial Hospital Foundation, and are greatly appreciated by his family.
