He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy McLaren and Esther McLaren (Rogers); and his grandson Aaron Kyle. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his daughters, Tammy Hart (Tilbert) and Tracey Gilbert (Rick); his grandchildren, Jessica, Justine and Cody; and his siblings, Davina Dixon (Dan), Bobbie McLaren, Gary McLaren (Darlene), Ian McLaren (Sue) and Debbie Evans (Steve).

Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
