She was predeceased by: her husbands, W. Leslie McFarlane and John N. Black; her son James Robert; her parents, Russell Smellie and Maggie Smellie; and her sisters, Margaret (Jack Milligan), Lillian (Robert Baker) and Rose (Paul Mosure).
She is survived by: her son Bill (Kathy); her daughter-in-law Nancy; and her grandchildren, Cara, James and Kendall.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Melville United Church or Groves Memorial Hospital.
