He is survived by: his parents, Sidney Beaumont and Isobel Cooper; his spouse Christina Beaumont (Penman); his stepsibling Doug Ives; his son Gary; his daughter-in-law Patricia; his daughters, Beverley Beckett, Lynda Konieczny, Judy Williams and Sharon Harten; and his son-in-law Wayman.

Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stoke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
