We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2023, at the age of 98, Mary Eleanor Merritt (Fergus, Ontario), born in Kitchener, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Kaufman and Edith Kaufman; her husband Thomas Rodman Merritt; her son William Hamilton; and her brothers, Edmund, Carl and Bob.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas (Debbie), Heidi (Jerry), Christopher (Debbie), Stephanie (Jeff), Allegra (Vince), Hudson and Natalie (Tom). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary Eleanor's name to Wellington Terrace Long Term Care Home, or a community organization of your choosing.
