She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Snyder and Dorothy Snyder; her mother-in-law Mary McDougall; and her brother-in-law Bob Ballantyne. She is survived by: her husband Jack McDougall; her children, Melanie McDougall of Fergus, Davin and Samantha McDougall of Fergus; her siblings, Terry Ballantyne of Ayr, Stewart and Margaret Snyder of New Hamburg; her father-in-law Peter McDougall of Fergus; and her siblings-in-law, Doug, Karen McDougall of Arthur, Janice McDougall of Fergus, Lorrie, Glen Lehman of Kenilworth, Paul, Christine McDougall of Arthur, Terry and Barb McDougall of Carp. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

As expressions of sympathy donations to the St. Paul's United Church, Metz or S.H.A.R.E Agricultural Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
