He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret "Peggy"; his parents, William and Jean; and his siblings, Paul and Joan.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff (Amy), Jennifer, Mark (Chelsea) and Travis (Natalie); his grandchildren, Paige, Avery, Payton, Ashley, Allison, Aubree, Brody and Miles; his mother-in-law Christine (late David) of Elora; and his sisters, Helen and Dianne.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in John's memory to Hospice Wellington in Guelph.
