He was predeceased by: his wife Norma; his parents, George Read and Laura Read; and his siblings, Mary Hunt (Fred), Dorothy Brown (Lloyd), Verna Brown (Charles), Laura Brown (Elgan), Florence Kingston (Jack), Anna Hagarty (Ray), Kathleen Mountenay (Roy), Robert Read (Gladys), Bill Read and Irvine Read.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Betty Read. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
