She was predeceased by: her husband Norman George Kidnie; her sister Lorene McDonald (Joseph); her siblings-in-law, Marjorie Schieck, Frank Cunningham, Jack and Wilfred; her brothers, Hugh (Marjory Kidnie) and Kenneth (Bertha Kidnie); and her parents, Leonard Schieck and Florence Wright.
She is survived by: her children, David (Tammy), Paul (Bonnie), Brenda (Bob), Dana (Rick) and Derek (Debra); her grandchildren, Kyle Kidnie (Sara Jenkins), Kendra Kidnie, Bryan Kidnie (Amanda), Blaine Kidnie (Michelle MacKenzie), Kierra Bossenberry (Dan), Dustin Janssen, Jason Janssen (Kristina), Jesse Janssen (Lena), Tori Jamieson (Kevin Frey), Tara Jamieson (Lisle Blackbourn), David Jamieson, Dana Alexandra Jamieson, Owen Kidnie (Melisa Kopan) and Delanie Kidnie; her great grandchildren, Emelia and Cole Kidnie; her siblings, Marjory Cunningham, Donna Darby (Neil), Ron Schieck and Floyd Schieck (Donna); and her sister-in-law Donna Kidnie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
If desired and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joanne's memory may be made to Arthur United Church (where Joanne was an active UCW member), the Canadian Cancer Society or Groves Hospital which may be arranged through the Crawford Funeral Chapel.
