He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert and Nellie; and his pet Reily (Peanut). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Bender; his children, Ryan Bender (Melanie Gagnon), Derek Bender, Anthony De Sousa and Jackie De Sousa (Jamie Hickey); his grandchildren, Reese, Benjamin and Devyn Bender; and his siblings, Glen, Gary, Brian and Denise.
