It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janice Swanson (Fergus, Ontario), born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wendell and Anna Ruth Rodd. She is survived by: her granddaughters, Destiny, Breanna, Haleigh, Seaira, Natasha, Tamara, Leah and Chloe. She is also survived by her husband, children, family, friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Graham Giddy Funeral Home, Fergus Chapel (280 St David St S, Fergus, ON N1M2L5). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (325 St George St W, Fergus, ON N1M1J4).
Donations in memory of Janice are to be directed to Groves Memorial Hospital Foundation - Oncology department or Hospice Wellington will be appreciated by the family in lieu of flowers.
