She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Mackenzie and Bessie Mackenzie; her siblings, Jim (Dorothy), Jack Mackenzie (Shirley) and Jean Harrison (Howard); her parents-in-law, Ernie and Lily Pearse; and her sister-in-law Elaine Pearse.

She is survived by: her husband Ray Pearse; her children, Michael (Debra), Michelle (Carl), Marilyn (late Fernando) and Mark (Mary); her grandchildren, Timothy, Anthony, Jody (Paul), Brady, Christopher, Nicholas, Brittany (Josh), Brandon, Matthew (Melanie) and Amber (Shawn); her great grandchildren, Emerson, Grace, Skylar, Scarlett, Willow, Chloe and Taylor; and her brother-in-law Donald Pearse. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
