She is survived by: her grandchildren, Finnik and Austin Shoemaker; her brothers, Scott Brookes (Caroline) and Mark Brookes (Kathy); her nieces and nephews, Kyle Brookes (Paige), Erin Brookes, Ashley Pond (Justin) and Brianna Ruppert (Noah); and her great-nieces, Hannah, Olivia Brookes, Emma and Lauren Pond.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 1:30 PM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (325 St George St W, Fergus, ON N1M1J4). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at the Ottawa.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Parkinson Canada would be appreciated by the family.
