He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice Ball; his parents, Ephriam Ball and Almeda Ball; his siblings, Leslie (Joyce Ball), Georgina (George Webber), Albert (Gwen Ball), Beatrice (Phillip McGiveney) and Robert Ball; and his brother-in-law Don Mayne.

He is survived by: his children, Clarke, Carmella Bresson of Edmonton, Sherri Bresson, Tom Prior of Guelph, Kent and Karen Bresson of Arthur; his grandchildren, Christina, Matt, Cale, Tyler, Jenn and Trevor; his sister Betty Mayne; and his sister-in-law Grace Ball. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and friends.
