She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorne Mathieson and Isabella Mathieson; her husband Wilbur Lawrence Burns; her sister-in-law Alberta Eleanor Burns; and her foster sister Gladys Zimmerman.
She is survived by: her children, Marion of Guelph and John (Ruth) of Fergus; her grandchildren, Michael of Guelph, Jason (Valerie) of New Liskard, Leanne (Jason) of Georgetown and Paul (Laura) of Elora; and her great grandchildren, Hayleigh, Akaydian, Mia, Jack, Bo and Jude.
Donations in memory of Bernice may be made to Bethel Baptist Church of Fergus.
