He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Gerda van; his children, Jack Bakker (Cheryl), Shirley Obergan (Maurice), Anne (Mike) and Jerry Bakker (Ann); and his grandchildren, Nick (Meg), Melissa (Brandon), Jason, Erica (Jordan), Scott (Jacqueline), Amanda (Kevin), Matthew and Nathan.
