He was predeceased by: his children, John, David (Franziska), Lloyd (Christine) and Joyce (Larry); his grandson Philip; and his brother Sjoerd (George).
He is survived by: his son Albert DeWitt of Fergus; his wife Baukje (Barbara) of Groot; his daughter-in-law Doris; his grandchildren, David, Sam, Ida, Edgar, Seth, Madeline, Sanne, Brittany and Megan; and his siblings, Harry, Johanna, Hiske, Luitzen, Siebe and Doede (Bill).
All attendees must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
