He was predeceased by: his parents, Elaine Purchase and Jack Purchase. He is survived by: his wife Irma; his daughters, Michelle (Dan) and Tanya (Noel); his grandchildren, Violet and Alex; and his siblings, Barbara Pierce and Bryne (Lynn). He is also survived by in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Pandemic restrictions made it very difficult to visit, and their kindness was immeasurable.
