He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Bertha; his children, Peter (Denise), Karen Hilts (Brad), Phil (Melanie) and Rodney (Kirsten); his siblings, Gary (Helen), Peter (Hilda), Mary Dykstra (John), Andy (Angeline), Paul (Thea), Jane Sneider (John) and Ellie Boerefyn (Martin); and his stepchildren, Pam Bok (Greg), Norman Menger (Laura), Heather Maas (Paul), Chris Menger and Brad Menger (Lauren).
