He is survived by: his children, Cyndy Best (Howard), Edward Rice (Dana) and Lindsay Ferguson (Abbey); his grandchildren, Robyn (Bryan), James, Stephanie (Jason), Erica, Robbie, Bryce, Shawna and Tyler; and his sisters, Pauline Robins (Allan) and Ada Tardiff.
Memorial donations may be made in Lorne's name to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Humane Society, or Diabetes Canada.
