He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joyce Pett; his children, Bruce (Joyce Pett) and Colleen (Peter Lindsay); his stepson Philip Allen; and his sisters, Marilyn (Gerry Birt), Joan (Alan Godfrey), Susan (Harvey Rasmussen) and Joy (Ron Harbottle). He was also cherished by 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
