She was predeceased by: her husband Kevin Gaul; and her mother Molly Thirkill (Chitty). She is survived by: her caregivers, Trish Bennett, Marlene Jenkins and Janet Tysiak; her children, Alison and Philip Gaul; her granddaughters, Avery and Alicia; her son-in-law Adam Smith; her close friend Hugh Johnstone; her sister Judy; her brother-in-law Michael Marlow; her nephew Alex (Lisa); her niece Emma (Ben); and her close friend Barbara Jones.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Women's College Hospital.
