He was predeceased by: his child Kim Lynch (Jerry); his parents, Joe Postill and Jean Postill (Holtzhauer); his brothers, Garth and Ronald (Sylvia); and his siblings-in-law, Julie, Joyce, Lynda, Dean Fitchett and Mel Simmons.

He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Postill (Beer); his children, Jesse Postill (Tracy) of London and Matthew Postill (Jacqueline) of Exeter; his grandchildren, Shannon and Kevin Ford of Dashwood; and his siblings, Graeme Postill (Beverly), Frank Postill, Peter Postill, Betty Fitchett, Doris Simmons, Patricia Postill and Fondly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
