With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven James Dettmer (Exeter, Ontario), who passed away on August 27, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his children, Sara Jane Haines and Steven Jacob Haines; his granddaughter Isabella Haines of Owen Sound; his siblings, Joan Karstens (Peter) of St. Joseph, Jane Brady (Sam) of Centralia and David of Centralia; his nephew Anthony Humphreys (Jennifer); his nieces, Avigail of Etobicoke and Adelaide of Etobicoke; and also, String of Centralia and Dettmer of Centralia.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the R.C.L. – R.E. Pooley – Branch #167 (Exeter Legion), or St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation – Operational Stress Injury Clinic (For individuals struggling with PTSD) would be appreciated by the family.
