Sir Murray Arthur Greene Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sir Murray Arthur Greene of Exeter, Ontario, who passed away on January 16, 2023 at the age of 101. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sir Murray Arthur Greene to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Greene (Logan) and Herbert Greene; his wife Rhea (Rickard); his son-in-law Claude LaFond; his grandson Robert Keating; his stepfather Percy Greene; and his siblings, Gerald, Mervin and Bernedas "Buddy".

He is survived by: his children, Bonita "Bonnie" LaFond (Meaford) of Exeter and David of Cobden; his grandson Trevor (Josie Keating); his great grandchildren, Tristen, Alex Keating and Jessica Keating (Mike); his great great grandchildren, Milo, Elliott and Treyson; his grandson Aaron (Alexandra Greene); his great grandchild Amaré; his granddaughter Kaitlyn Haley (James); his great grandchild Padraig of Stittsville, ON.; and also Valérie of Kingston. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

On his 100th birthday he was feted with a drive-by organised by the Legion members as all other celebrations were cancelled because of COVID.
