She was predeceased by: her daughter Marie; her children-in-law, Cathy Green and Ron Griffith; her parents, Henry James and Eliza Jane Varley (Poulton); and her siblings, Tom, Jim, Joe, Walt, Fred, Dave, Doris Varley, Dorothy MacGregor-Thompson and Lavina Varley.
She is survived by: her husband Eldon Orville Smith; and her children, Jim Green of Bayfield, Alma Griffith of London, Ron (Jane Green) and Carol Smith (Joe) of Paquette Corners. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews.
If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to Canadian Diabetes Association, Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
