He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Ferguson and Effie Ferguson; his brothers, Don (Jean), Lyle (Dorothy) and James; his nephews, Jamie and Carey; and his siblings-in-law, Audrey Ross (Jim) and Jim Vandenbogaerde.

He is survived by: his wife Betty (Morningstar); his daughters, Colleen of Sarnia, Christine of Exeter and Janet (Dave) of Grand Bend; his pet Holly; his grandson Jeremy Weston (Lindsay); his great grandchildren, Leam, Damien and Ryder; and his sisters-in-law, Ethel Ferguson and Helen Vandenbogaerde. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
