She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilma Merryfield and Charlie Merryfield. She is survived by: her husband Scott Burton; her children, Michelle Ellison (Eric), Marcie Ellison Outerbridge (Howie) and Jenny Ellison (Duncan); her stepsons, Mark Burton (Debbie), Jeff Burton (Liette) and Mike Burton (Julia); and her grandchildren, Beckett, Sasha, Avery, Piper, Sebastian, Charlie, Jesse and Brette.
When COVID restrictions are lifted, a celebration befitting Mary's love of family, friends and music will be held in Exeter.
Donations to Jessica's House or the South Huron Hospital Foundation, where Mary passed her last weeks in comfort, are welcome.
