The passing of Marten Ivan Dykstra of Exeter, Ontario leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 22, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell "Bob" Dykstra and Beatrice Dykstra; his mother-in-law Gretta Richard; his sister Grace Yearley; and his brother-in-law James Onn.
He is survived by: his spouse Laurie Dykstra (Richard); his children, Jason, Erin Dykstra, Janelle and Moe Salih; his grandchildren, Aubrey, Owen Dykstra, Reya and Halee Salih; his brother Michael Dykstra; and his siblings-in-law, Randy Yearley and Lynne Richard-Onn. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Haskett Funeral Home (456 Main St S, Exeter, ON N0M1S6). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Donations to the Huron County Food Distribution Centre, Habitat for Humanity Huron County, or the Knox Presbyterian Church Bayfield would be appreciated by the family.
